Measuring fan SMV

The measuring fan SMV reliably measures the air volume displaced in a ventilation duct. The unique construction of the measurement fan ensures that only when air flows in the right direction, a pulse-like signal is issued.

The aerodynamically optimised plastic measuring impeller allows accurate measurement of air velocities as low as 0.4 m/s. The double-bearing shaft and the applied ball bearings are made of stainless steel. The electronics are entirely encased in a casting resin. This makes the SMV a measurement fan that continues to operate smoothly under the harshest conditions.
